AWT IMAGEThe School of Automotive Engineering and Automotive Research Center are interdisciplinary automotive affiliates program at Iran University of Science and Technology that was established in 2000 in line with a dedicated research center. The school provides Masters of Science programs in the following categories: Power Train, Chassis Systems, Body and Structure. Till 2016, more than 500 students have graduated, and some 150 graduate students are currently completing their research and courses.

Since September 2007, the school established a B.Sc. program in General Automotive Engineering. The purpose of this program was to train engineers for automotive and related industries. 

The school also began a Ph.D. program in 2008 to train and educate managers for the automotive industries and well-educated professors in the field of automotive engineering. Many outstanding gra

duates choose to continue their edu

cation in this field because Automotive Engineering, which is a new multidisciplinary field, has great potential for innovation and research. The Automotive Industry in Iran is prestigious and of high rank. It is very promising in terms of job opportunities.

The school's library provides academic support with more than 600 volumes of books, a subscription to 30 scientific journals, and a collection of CDs pertaining student work, courses and thesis collections. This local library also allows access to the central library.

On September 2007 29 undergraduate students were admitted to the school of General Automotive Engineering.
